The Acid Bat Project was founded by Dave "DZ" Diaz, front man/vocalist for Miami local band Core from 1992-2006. Influenced by the psychedelic funk sounds of the late 60s and early 70s, he set off in 2010 to do his solo project. The Acid Bat Project is a hybrid of old school psychedelia and modern day groove.
